Jun13
Dear friends and family,
I am performing in a very exciting event COMING JUNE 13, 2015, and I wanted to let you know! As you may or may not know, I have been studying voice at Vox Academy for the last 4 years. It truly has been a life changing experience to say the least! The Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to give everyone access to healthy vocal development in a safe and nurturing environment. They are in need of more funds in order to achieve their mission, develop their tuition assistance fund, and heal/empower more voices, so they are holding a "Sing-a-thon!" - a celebratory concert and fundraiser, in which I will be singing.
Just as a marathon runner may ask for sponsors, I am reaching out to my community for sponsors per song, or a flat donation to Vox. You may choose to make a $5, $10, or $20 donation per song that I sing - or a donation in any amount really helps! When you sponsor a specific singer (like me!), you have a few options. One is to use the donate button on the website (link below) and write the following text in the "add text" field towards the end of that process: "Sponsor [Ragon Linde] for Sing-a-thon JUNE 13." If you mail in a donation, please write "sponsor [Ragon Linde] sing-a-thon" in the memo line of your check. If you have any questions about the donating process, please direct them to becca@voxacademy.org. Remember, all donations are tax-deductible! Thank you so much for your support of this organization that means so much to me!!! http://voxacademy.org/donate/ I truly hope you can make it to this fun event, and hear me sing my heart out! Here are the details: What: Sing-a-thon! A fun, informal, celebratory performance. Yummy food, too! Where: Vox Academy, 5101 SE 17th Ave., Portland, 97202 When: Saturday JUNE 13, gathering for bbq food/community at 6
Sing-A-Thon 7- 9:00pm Hope to see you there! In gratitude,
